Curate your exhibition is 3D space

Ortelia Curator™ encourages users to develop a more profound understanding of the curatorial process and its relationship to space.

Ortelia Curator™ has been created specifically with professional curators, educators and students in mind. Virtual Curator™ enables users to accurately curate real or imaginary exhibitions in their own gallery or imaginary spaces.

 With Ortelia Curator™ curators can test their ideas before actually hanging artwork thus avoiding excessive handling of delicate works. A curated session can be saved for later editing or shared with others. With this application students can submit their work for assessment. Teachers can assess a student’s work and add feedback in the form of notes and queries.

Ortelia Curator™ enhances students’ learning experiences by allowing them to experiment with their own curatorial processes as well as archived versions of original exhibitions.

 

With Ortelia Curator™ you can:

Build a Gallery space   Test your space in 3D
Import floor plans or build a gallery from scratch. Work in Metric or Imperial units.
  
Test your space in 3D before going on. Add doors, windows and wall holes. Paint walls and change floor coverings
     
Import and place artwork   Frame Artwork
Import and place your artwork accurately. Utilise eye-lines for accurate placement. Measure distances between artworks and walls. Set artwork dimensions.
  
Frame artwork. Select from a large library of frames. Adjust frame size and colours.
     
Creat and Place Didactic Panels   Crop and edit art
Create, place and edited readable didactic panels.
  
Crop artwork to a user specified size.
     
Add comments   Test your final curated event
Add comments and notes for sharing ideas or student assessment.
