Ortelia Services

Ortelia can provide fully-detailed models of gallery venues: we ‘install’ an exhibition (either one that is upcoming, or – if you have the images of an exhibition that is no longer on display – a past exhibition) in an interactive model of your venue. One advantage in modeling a venue virtually is that it can be reused for each new exhibition that is shown in the space.

These virtual models offer guided tours of the venue as well as the option for users to explore the gallery or museum by themselves. Alternatively, tours can be narrated with an avatar (a human body and voice that walks around the gallery with the user) or with a simple voice-over.

Ortelia can also provide virtual models of art exhibitions, museum objects, and videos, with the sound tuned so that it replicates the level of sound in the ‘real’ exhibition.

Additionally, Ortelia offers school groups and young patrons the chance to try curating their own exhibition or to learn about a particular artist or work.

Historic venues may also wish to show their patrons a view of the venue in previous incarnations, and Ortelia’s virtual modeling easily accommodates those needs. It also allows venues to display some of their objects and works in more than one location or context.

Ortelia also specialises in the modeling and archiving of heritage buildings.

Ortelia will also soon offer a curating tool for gallery and museum curators.
